Sailors tell many tales, but none so numerous as those about Sea Serpents. Sea Serpents live strictly in the water and have been known to attack ships for a quick sailor meal. It is unknown whether they are intelligent, and though they resemble dragons, it is commonly held that they are not closely related.
Sea Serpents have a devastating attack, but are not so nearly well defended, and so they tend to attack ships and swimmers they know they can make into an easy meal. Sea Serpents can be coerced, via powerful water magic, to serve, but such a feat is costly and seldom worth the effort.
